Atlas Savings names new Chairman of the Board

BROOKLYN, NY April 22, 2008 — Atlas Savings and Loan Association, a state chartered full service community bank serving the Borough of Brooklyn New York for over 100 years announced that Alexander S. Marchak, Jr. has been named chairman of its board of directors.

Mr. Marchak is well known in the Polish and Slavic communities for time spent in many charitable organizations and professional business organizations. For the last thirty years, Marchak has served as director of the Trzaska-Bay Ridge Funeral Home, a three-generation business. He is married to Holly and their son Alex.
